One Thing I Love: Waterdrop

WeblogPoMo2024

Last weekend, I wandered into the Waterdrop store while at the Mall of America. Waterdrop is s simple flavor additive for water -- in the shape of a small cube.

The idea behind the founding of the company is:

A world without pre-filled beverages – where daily hydration is sustainable, healthy and easy to achieve for everybody. That's the kind of world we want to live in.

Pretty simple, right? These tiny cubes come in a multitude of great flavors, my current favorites being Cola and Lemon Iced Tea. They sell start kits, or you can buy bottles and water drop cubes separately if you want to. twelve cubes come in each box, and one cube is added to 20 ounces of water. let the cube dissolve for a few minutes and BAM! Flavor!

I bought a new water bottle and three boxes of cubes -- Cola, Lemon Iced Tea, and Berry (which is an electrolyte drink). In the five days that I've had this, I've consistently been drinking 86 ounces of water every day. That's pretty amazing because I'm usually regularly dehydrated.

I've always hated the taste of regular water. I've tried so many water additives, especially. of the sugar-free variety. Each and every one of them leaves the distinct taste of artificial sweetener as an aftertaste. I dislike that.

Waterdop doesn't do that. The flavor is robust and there's zero artificial sweetener taste. I'm a big, big fan.
