đŸ’ģ Setapp: Apps I Currently Use

Things I Love

Setapp is a "productivity service" from MacPaw. Essentially, it's a smorgasbord of apps for macOS, iOS, and the Web. A subscription is paid for monthly or yearly, as most are. I pay $10 monthly.

Right now because I use an Android phone, I'm paying for the Mac-only tier. Should I move back to an iPhone or want to install more apps on my iPad, then I'll likely upgrade to be able to use the apps on macOS and iOS.

There are currently 240+ apps available in Setapp, and you can download and use any of them (paid features included, of course) as long as you have an active subscription. Photo/video editing, design, writing, finance, and various utilities comprise just some of what you'll find.

At the moment, I have 11 apps installed on my M2 MacBook Air. I know that's on the lighter side of what some others are using, but I'm still working my way through the list to see what might be useful to me. Even with 11 apps, the cost is more than justified because individual app prices would add up to much more than what a Setapp subscription costs for a year.

The apps I'm currently using are:

I'm sure I'll find more as I finish going through the list, but for now, these are all fantastic apps. I recommend all of them -- and I recommend Setapp, too!
