📝 Week Notes, No. 2024.14

Weekly Highlights of April 1st - 7th:

💻 After some thinking, I decided to re-subscribe to Setapp. At $10/month for Mac-only use, it's a steal, considering that I currently have 11 apps installed. Paying for these individually would cost me much more than the $10/month, so it's worth it for me. Plus, Ulysses is included!

❄️ A Winter Storm Warning hit us this week. We didn't seem to get a ton of snow, but it was hard to tell, as we also received a lot of rain. Things were very slushy. Oh, and there were 50mph winds, too.

🍴 I decided to follow Alex's lead and whipped up another blog to share my favorite recipes! This one is also housed on the Scribbles platform. In sticking with the theme of my other blogs, this one is called Eats from the Underground.

🦠 OH tested positive for Covid on Saturday. So far, I haven't tested positive, but we'll see if things stay that way.

• Diablo IV, Season 3 (Xbox)
• Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Xbox)

🎧 Listening To:

• House in the Tall Grass by Kikagaku Moyo. This groups' music is wonderful. I'm a big fan.
• Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós, which is my favorite album from them. It was also the album that introduced me to Sigur Rós, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but it's just so, so good.
• Ghosteen, by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. This is their 17th album, believe it or not, and its just as good as the first.

📖 Reading:

• A Mystery of Mysteries: The Death and Life of Edgar Allan Poe by Mark Dawidziak (continued)

✨ Creating:

• I made some progress on various crochet projects, including the afghans I'm making for my brother and sister. My niece has also requested a blanket, so I'll have to start searching for yarn for that project, too.
• I whipped a new recipe blog. I'm excited to start sharing my favorite recipes there. There's more about that above.
